Spheres and Tablecloths: creating substrates for mosaic The Tablecloths & Garden Spheres sculptural class is a 2 day workshop that explores creating substrates for mosaic that mimic the flow of fabrics and how to create garden spheres from beach balls, all with a view to mosaic. These substrates are suitable for outdoor mosaics. Students will begin to create two different substrates: a mini tablecloth and a garden sphere. They are guided on how to create the two different substrates and how they can be adapted for size. No art or mosaic experience necessary! Please bring lunch. Please note there is a materials fee of $50 payable on completion of the workshop.
